Preserving the Essence, Innovating with Integrity | Chairman Fu Weiwei Invited to the 55th National Medicine Fair Ancestor Worship Ceremony

Preserving the essence while innovating with integrity — on the morning of October 15, 2024, the “Gézao Mountain Ancestor Worship Ceremony,” a sub-event of the 55th National Medicinal Materials and Drugs Trade Fair in Zhangshu, was held at the Dawanshou Chongzhen Palace on Gézao Mountain in Zhangshu, Jiangxi. Lixiang Group Chairman Fu Weiwei and General Manager Li Wen were invited to attend.

All attendees stood solemnly as bells and drums sounded together, respectfully reciting the sacrificial address and paying homage to the founding ancestors of the pharmaceutical industry, praying for the prosperity of the industry and favorable weather for the motherland.

The 55th National Medicinal Materials and Drugs Trade Fair was held from October 16 to 18 in Zhangshu, the Millennium Capital of Chinese Medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure of the Chinese nation and a brilliant pearl in the treasure house of Chinese civilization.

“No medicine is complete before it reaches Zhangshu; no medicine is effective without passing through Zhangshu.” As a key battlefield for revitalizing the “Capital of Chinese Medicine,” Zhangshu has long promoted the revitalization project, forming a full-industry-chain development pattern integrating planting, production, circulation and R&D. It has been rated among China’s top 100 county-level industrial cluster competitiveness and a national demonstration base.
